From an interview with
Q: What’s your current age?
A: 22
Q: How long have you been an artist/interested in art?
A: I was six years of age when I first discovered an interest in art
Q: How did your interest begin? Who/what were your inspirations?
A: My interest began when I was young. Believe it or not the interest was sparked by watching the Ninja Turtles. I did research on the names and found they were names of renowned artists before my time. And after doing research on them and looking at their artwork, I tried sketching out what they had sketched...I was just a kid. I always had in interest in drawing eyes of a face.
Q: Is art a career for you, or a hobby, or both?
A: It's both. It started out being a hobby - taking pictures of my friends and road trips I would go to. I had many different categories I put my friends in. By the time I got interested in photography I had about 6500 pictures of friends and road trips. Then after I bought my first professional camera I took it seriously and I found out what I wanted my career to be.
Q: What is your most commonly used process for creating a finished work? You may be as detailed as you wish. Please include the materials you use.
A: For a finished piece of work, whether black or white, or color, when the final photo is processed normally I frame it with frame, mat, exacto knife, and measured glass for a very perfect fit.
Q: Do you wish you could improve? If so, what means would you want to take to improve? Tutorials, practice, books, art classes, other?
A: I constantly improve and want to improve. if there is a material out there that I have no knowledge of, then I know there is another means of improving and I can always find that new teqnique. Even Ansel Adams was improving the day he died. So even the greatest artist were still learning. If there are classes out there, and there are books, I know I could improve.
Q: How long have you been a member of deviantart (months/years)?
A: Since January 7, 2007
Q: How, if at all, has deviantart helped you?
A: With the comments that people leave and the favorites that people put of mine on their website, which gives me a sense of knowledge that I am expanding my horizons for photography. It shows that people have a love for photography like I do. This website gives me communication to people all around the world that do photography and appreciate it. I have had references through this website, along with job offers and questions from people about my photography. With Deviantart being free to unseen artists, this website should be able to help others, as it has helped me.
Q: Have you had any problems with deviantart?
A: Problem free
Q: How often do you go to deviantart?
A: I check it twice a day.
Q: Is there anything else you'd like to say about yourself, deviantart, or in general?
A: besides me studying photography for the past six years, and having the opportunity to be an assistant photographer for a local photographer, thank you Deviantart for hearing my voice.

The magic of photography is metaphysical. What you see in the photograph isn't what you saw at the time. The real skill of photography is organised visual lying.
